THE LAP DOUBLETAP is based on the original THE LAP route around lake Windermere but once you have completed your first circumnavigation, we turn you around and send you back the other way.

 

Though THE DOUBLETAP is a fully-marked, low level route with well stocked aid stations around the lake, it is by no means a push over. With close to 100 miles of technical trails to cover and over 5,000m of ascent, this is an event for those willing to push themselves.

Competitors will have 36 hours to circumnavigate England's largest and most iconic lake...twice, taking in all the best view points on some of the most beautiful trails The Lakes has to offer.
